Builders in South London
Extensions, loft conversions, garage conversions and full refurbishments across Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, Bromley, Bexley and Croydon. Through the Blackwall Tunnel from East Ham, and for the size of job we do, a short trip.
South East London first
Greenwich, Lewisham and Bexley are the closest parts of South London to our East Ham base and where most of our south-of-the-river work is. Blackheath, Eltham and Sidcup have interwar semis and detached houses on generous plots; Lewisham, Brockley and Forest Hill are Victorian terraces; Peckham and Dulwich are a mix of both with strong conservation-area coverage.
- Rear and side-return extensions on Victorian terraces in Lewisham, Brockley, Peckham and Nunhead.
- Loft conversions — the Victorian and Edwardian roofs here convert well, and the 1930s semis of Eltham and Bexley take a hip-to-gable.
- Double-storey extensions and garage conversions on the wider plots of Blackheath, Eltham, Bromley and Croydon.
- Full refurbishments across the region, particularly on houses bought by families moving out from inner London.
South West London
We cover Clapham, Balham, Streatham, Tooting and Wimbledon as well. The housing is similar Victorian and Edwardian stock, and the jobs are the same: side returns, lofts and whole-house refurbishments. Lambeth and Wandsworth both have extensive conservation areas, which we check before quoting.
Croydon and Bromley
The outer south is where the biggest single jobs are: double-storey extensions, wrap-arounds and full refurbishments on 1930s detached houses. We price these itemised by trade and stage with a target completion date on the quote, because on a £150,000 job that discipline matters more than anywhere.

Questions from South London customers
Do you cover Croydon and Bromley?
Yes, for extensions, lofts, garage conversions and full refurbishments. For a small job that far from East Ham we will say honestly whether it makes sense; for the larger work, distance is not an issue.
What does a side-return extension cost in Lewisham or Peckham?
Typically £48,000 to £70,000 for a side-return infill, and £75,000 to £105,000 for an L-shaped side and rear. Not VAT registered, so no VAT on labour.
Is my house in a conservation area?
Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham all have large conservation areas — Blackheath, Dulwich, Brockley, Telegraph Hill and many more. Send us the postcode and we check before the visit.
How soon can you visit?
Usually within three to five working days. We group South London site visits together.
